  • What is Cowboy Camp?

    Cowboy Camp is an immersive western experience where participants can connect with horses, learn basic horsemanship skills, and enjoy various outdoor activities. It’s designed to bring people together in a relaxed, fun environment that celebrates the western lifestyle.

  • When does Cowboy Camp take place?

    Saturdays | 3-5 PM | April 19 - May 24

    Tuesdays | 7-9 PM | April 29 - June 3

  • Where is Cowboy Camp located?

    The camp is held at a small private ranch in Sunland, CA about 15 minutes north of Burbank.

  • What will we be doing at Cowboy Camp?

    Jayme, the owner of Epona, will decide and adjust activities based on her assesment of each participant's skill level. Participants will enjoy activities like horsemanship, grooming, tacking up, and riding. For more detailed information on our program, please click here

  • Do I need to be experienced with horses or riding?

    No prior experience with horses is necessary. Cowboy Camp is designed for beginners to focus on building confidence and connection with the horses before even hopping into the saddle. And yes, you will get riding opportunities!

  • What should I wear?

    We recommend wearing comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes, especially for the horsemanship lessons. Western attire, like jeans and cowboy boots, is encouraged but not required. Shorts are not allowed and helmets are provided if you do not have your own.

  • Are there any age restrictions for participants?

    This is an 18+ and older camp! If you are interested in signing your children up for lessons, please contact Jayme directly at jayme@eponariding.com

  • What should I bring?

    We recommend bringing watersnacks, and any additional sun protection for daytime sessions. We will provide helmets, but if please bring your own if you prefer!

  • What is the cancellation policy?

    March 16 - April 1: 50% refund.

    After April 1: No refunds, but tickets may be transferred to another participant.

  • Can I bring my pup to enjoy the property?

    To ensure the safety and comfort of all participants and the horses, we do not allow pets at Cowboy Camp.

  • How much does Cowboy Camp cost?

    Early Bird: $450 per person (limited availability)

    Regular Price: $525 per person

    Buddy Pass (2 Tickets): $500 per person ($1,000 total)

  • Do I need to pay in full up front?

    If you are not able to pay in full, please reach out to natalie@westernwellnesssocialclub.com to discuss options. Full payment will always be due by April 1, 2025.
